Continues apace work on the new EcoPark in La Union.
This infrastructure is being built on city-owned plot of 2,000 square meters, near the sports center with a convenient and direct access through the street of San Gil.
The EcoPark will allow a substantial improvement in environmental quality in the city, residents have a place in which to deposit free all types of waste such as furniture, appliances, batteries, debris and oils, which are the major new level permanent collection as well as more traditional plastic, glass, organic or paper and cardboard.
The facility will have a modern system of containers and means of eliminating any possible damage to the environment during the collection process.
Also, have a classroom for environmental education work.
The works, which began last January, are priced at 240,000 euros, financed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Water.
