The Old Public Market will host Union today, starting at 20:00 hours, a benefit concert "Help Pro Haiti" Marcos Witt, organized by the NGO REMAR, dedicated to helping all types of marginalized, and the Church Evangelical.
Marcos Witt, one of the greatest exponents of the international Christian music, is pastor of the Evangelical Church in America.
Marcos Witt works in the Union in the framework of his tour "Supernatural" which also includes performances in Madrid, Sevilla, and countries like Venezuela, Italy, Brazil, USA, Mexico, etc.
The President of the Evangelical Council, representative of the Evangelical Churches and pastor of the Evangelical Church of La Union, Angel Zapata, noted that "it is expected not only the participation of members of the Evangelical Church but also of other Christian communities."
Zapata thanked "the great human effort and logistical REMAR NGOs and the city of La Union, because without them we would not have been possible to make this event and raise and support to Haiti."
All proceeds will go to helping Haiti through the International REMAR NGOs present in 67 countries.
For the Evangelical Church in La Union, this benefit concert is the culmination of the celebration of its 25th anniversary in the town.
