The International Festival of Cante de las Minas received last Saturday Vedruna Award in the category of Culture.
Vedruna Awards, now in its fourteenth edition, presented annually since 1997 to individuals, institutions or companies who generously promoted the values of the Foundation: Culture, Sport and Coexistence.
The International Festival of Cante de las Minas, declared of International Tourist Interest, met in 2010 its Golden Jubilee in this edition, will hold the Presidency of Honour HM King Juan Carlos I.
In addition, the singer Enrique Morente receive the Golden Castillete and has already confirmed the presence in the L Festival of guitarist Paco de Lucía, among other developments that will unravel in the coming months.
It should be recalled that last March 1 Murcia presented in the newly formed Foundation International Song Festival Mine is owned by the City of La Union, the Autonomous Community and the Government of Spain.

Moreover, in Sport, Vedruna Foundation has recognized the work of Cub Mountain Roller Masters Union, while Vedruna Living Award in 2010 went to the restaurant centennial "The Cruet".
Finally, Esteban Bernal Velasco received a special mention for being the mayor initiated the Festival del Cante de las Minas.
