The Governing Board of the City of La Union has awarded the company provisionally Blues rehabilitation works for public use of the building of the former slaughterhouse.
The total investment in this project amounts to 302,000 euros.
The building is located between the streets Slaughterhouse, Santa Florentina and Mediterranean avenues Christ of the Miners Union.
The building of the former slaughterhouse will be completely renovated to house the new headquarters of the Department of Social Services City of La Union.
Is expected to carry out their work in these new facilities, which occupy more than 400 m2, the workers assigned to social services, reserving space for future installation also in the building of CAVI, designed to assist victims of gender violence and in the family.
The project includes the complete rehabilitation of the building, which will include new wall and floor tiles.
Similarly, be carried out to improve existing facilities and equip the building of new facilities commensurate with its new use as a venue for social services in the municipality.
The action also includes the addition of an elevator to comply with accessibility standards and ensure full integration of persons with disabilities.
It is envisaged that the works completed by the end of this year.
