Within the program of events commemorating the 150 anniversary of the establishment of the municipality of La Union, has begun the lecture series "Know your history."
The initiative, pioneering in our town, provides a joint program of lectures and guided tours that will benefit the 12 schools in La Union, Portman and Roche.
The first lecture deals with the "festival of Mines and Mining Cantes", to be followed by a visit to the two official venues of the event, Pinion House and the Old Public Market.
The second talk focuses on "The History of the Union" and will be followed by a round of visits to the Mining Museum in La Union to Portman Archaeological Museum and the Ethnological Museum of Roche.
The third conference will be devoted to "The Mining Park of the Union" and ends with a visit to this new space, chaired by Mina Groups Vicenta, who plans to open its doors to the public next June.
All activities are promoted directly from the City of La Union, and the same are free for students in our municipality.
