This morning has been formally inaugurated the new Point of Care for Children (Municipal Nursery) from Roche, installation becomes the first of its kind available to the hamlet unionense throughout its history.
The ceremony was chaired by the Hon.
Social Policy Adviser, Women and Migration, Joaquín Bascuñana, and our Mayor, Francisco Bernabé, accompanied by the Director General of Family and Children, Laura Muñoz, and the Councillor for Women, Mary Hermogenes, as well as many neighbors and relatives the children serviced by the center.
The new building has three classrooms and children's playground annex currently houses a total of 18 children under 3 years of this town.
The work has involved an investment of 150,000 euros, covered by the Autonomous Community, and classrooms are operating at full capacity since last month.
Both the Mayor and the Director have agreed about the huge leap in quality that is experiencing the city in early childhood education, care for the new Portman and Roche for the first time giving this service to parishes joins major new construction Center for Child Care in La Union, which will enter service in late 2010 and will have the latest and most modern facilities in such public services.
