On the day of a meeting yesterday between the city of La Union and representatives of the Brotherhood of Christ of Miners and the various groupings unionenses that region in which it was submitted the draft of the new Museum and Headquarters of the Week Santa.
The project will involve the complete rehabilitation of the building located on the street in Salvador Pascual currently houses the offices of the Local Police and Social Services and will consist of a museum area on ground floor and one for Headquarters of the Brotherhood and their groupings upstairs.
The project has a cost of 281,000 euros, which are borne 50% by the Ministry of Public Works of the Autonomous Community of Murcia and the remaining 50% by the City Council.
The estimated start of work is next spring and they have a lead time of 7 months.
The spokesman of the government team, Carlos Martinez, said the project also includes a comprehensive renovation of both the front of the building, and the adjacent plaza, which is planned to place a monument to the unionenses processions.
