Yesterday evening welcomed the start of the conference on "Economic crisis and social exclusion: new perspectives on training and employment", promoted by the Fundación Sierra Minera and they have the cooperation of the City of La Union.
The opening ceremony was attended by our Mayor, Francisco Bernabé, the Director General of the Regional Employment Service and Training, Ginés Martínez, and the President of the Fundación Sierra Minera, Ginés Guerrero, who was welcomed unanimously by the continuity of this great initiative.
The Conference will be developed on days 1, 2 and 3 December and will have its headquarters in the Hall of the House building Pinion.
The conference program is as follows:
In the first session, professors of economics at the University of Murcia José Prudencio Antonio Losa and Riquelme, presented a paper on the crisis of development and the impact on employment in the south of our region.
And subsequently held a roundtable with different social agents, which will participate the vice president of Confederation of Business Organizations in the region of Cartagena, Pedro Pablo Hernández, secretary general of the CCOO in the Region of Murcia, Daniel Bueno , Professor of Sociology Andres Pedroza, and the representative of the Network Against Poverty and Social Exclusion in the Region of Murcia, Antonio Galindo.
The second day there will be an initial presentation on the key to redefine the job training and job placement strategies in the current crisis, by Enrique del Rio, Madrid ProEmpleo cooperative, an expert in the field of social economy and social integration with a wide path.
Then be presented various experiences in our country with extensive experience in the field of training and employment of the population at risk of social exclusion and the creation of technology integration and solidarity economy initiatives: Raul Contreras, analyze various Valencian community experiences, Miren Braceras present the extensive work being done by the Federation Sartu in the Basque Country, and Diego Arias present the valuable experience of the Foundation Engrunes in Catalonia.
The third time the conference will focus on a panel discussion on challenges to the employability of the most vulnerable in our region, which will be participating nonprofit organizations that are doing important work for social inclusion and work: Juan Antonio Segura de CEPAIM, organization that works with the immigrant population, Ascension Parra, FSG specializes in working with the Roma community, Francisco Lopez, Mops Emmaus, with extensive experience working with people serious situation of social exclusion, and Angel Marcos Abel, of the Foundation Sierra Minera.
After the roundtable, will open a final time for the preparation of the conclusions of the conference, which will be released later to all public authorities, social partners and organizations.
