These employment contracts are in the form of public employment and are fully supported by the Regional Employment Service and Training (SEF) of the Autonomous Region of Murcia.
Contracts are fixed term and expires on June 30, 2010.
The jobs that have been granted to the City are as follows: three childhood educators to municipal day care, three socio-youth leaders, a technician for the new library, a driver for the local brigade, one technician for administration and accounting and seven janitors for various municipal offices.
The Mayor reiterated the firm commitment of the City Council for trying to help as possible to curb the serious unemployment situation in the Union, with an unemployment rate of almost 40% and a truly dramatic situation for many families.
It has also added to be achieved before the end of the year, a new subsidy for these jobs.
Those interested in future rounds of public employment must be registered in the Union and enrolled at the local office of the SEF.
