The Bureau of Local Employment of the EU has drawn up a new workshop in the morning at the headquarters of our City, in order to address the serious problem that is causing unemployment in the municipality.
The participants in the meeting have been sent the mayor a set of proposals that seek to boost economic activity and enhance job creation in the entire municipality unionense.
After discussion, it has been agreed to prepare a report identifying all the actions proposed, and to ask the Regional Employment Centre a detailed statistical profile of the unemployed in the Union.
The Bureau has agreed to meet again next December, after an analysis of all data mentioned above.
It has also been agreed to invite the Cartagena Chamber of Commerce for incorporation in this forum.
Local Employment Bureau is composed of: the City, by the three political parties represented in municipal (PP, PSOE and IU), the Autonomous Community of Murcia (through the Regional Employment Service and Training-SEF- ), the trade unions UGT and CCOO, the Federation of Business and Professional Union and entities Murcia Foundation Welcomes and Sierra Minera.
