At the headquarters of the notary of the municipality, and after a long administrative process, the City of La Union had signed the deed of sale of the plots so far municipally owned, situated in the Industrial I Bolarín favor of the Company Public Land and Business Equipment in the Region of Murcia, SA (SEREMUR) under the Institute of Commercial Development in the Region of Murcia.
The transmission was on the last seven parcels, located in industrial urban land, which were owned by the City Council, and the final price received by them amounted to 1,769,527.32 euros, plus VAT, which has been entered and in the municipal coffers.
In accordance with the provisions of applicable law, and pursuant to the provisions contained in the municipal budgets for 2009, the full amount of that sum should be used to pay various investments referred to the municipality in terms of infrastructure.
In this sense, the Mayor has expressed his joy at having finally completed the acquisition of funds that will enable successful completion of major municipal investments.
Thus, both positively highlighted the support of those who have made the initiative, and negatively with the various obstacles that have occurred over recent years for its proper purpose, such as the prohibition of the Ministry of Finance to sign a loan by this amount, the auction was deserted of plots or the appeal to stop the sale.
However, continuing the line of satisfaction, he added that will be possible to bring to conclusion, including the following highlights: the opening of the indoor pool in the coming months, after existing debt is paid on the same, the beginning also at the earliest possible construction of new school Alfonso X El Sabio, after purchasing the land next to Race Irun in which the new center will be located, or the beginning of the expansion and improvement works Integrated Mining Museum of La Union.
