In relation to comments received from the municipality of La Union on the note issued by the Government Commission on the occasion of the inauguration of the Civil Guard barracks in the town after the remodeling work done on it, the Government Office insists that the funding for these has been:
- 210,000 euros from the European Social Fund, which are handled by the Government of Spain.
It receives all ESF amounts destined for Spain and, as active employment policies are transferred to the autonomous communities, then transferred to them.
- 140,000 euros from the City (whose cooperation the Government Delegation appreciated the note.)
- And 58,000 euros of the plan which does provide money for this work against what the council says, which seems to confuse one with the Local Investment Fund.
As is known, this fund is only part of the plan, which also has other items that manage various ministries (in this case, the interior, which provides the amount referred to in this quarter as it has for others in different works in the region).
Moreover, the Government Office notes that the Civil Guard barracks in the Union is a state infrastructure and as such, is one which meets with accuracy and detail the investments made in its field facilities.
