The Governing Council has given approval to a grant of 228,758 euros from the Ministry of Social Policy, Women and Migration to the city of La Union, to finance the construction of a Day Care Centre for older people in the municipality.
The center, located between the streets and of Salto del Pozo, have a total of 40 seats.
The session provides 76,252 euros, computable valuation purposes with the city-owned land on which to build the center.
Over 135,000 euros for the maintenance of occupational center of La Union
The City of La Union will receive 135,345 euros for the maintenance of occupational center Andrés Martínez Cánovas Foundation, located in San Gil road, for which the municipality will contribute 398,052 euros.
The aim of the center, equipped with 43 seats, is to facilitate career development, personal and social integration of people with disabilities for employment and social integration.
Thus, providing career development services, personal and social, specialized care and services, such as residence, transportation, or dining room.
