The Full Council of La Union gave in yesterday, the Gold Medal of the City of Union Local Assembly of the Red Cross for their nursing care and involvement in the social fabric of the Union.
Local Assembly was established in the town of La Union in 1909.
Also during the plenary session approved the appointment of Adoptive Daughter of the city of La Union to Ms. Pilar de Larios Vega, a teacher who served for over forty years in the town and Councillor of Education between 1987-1995.
Pilar de Larios received the Cross of Alfonso X the Wise Teacher Merit.
He also created the School of Theatre and the Association of Amas de Casa de la location.
Similarly, the full City Council has approved Union accession to the Framework Cooperation Agreement between the Federation of Municipalities of the Region of Murcia and the Ombudsman for the Region of Murcia to collaborate on the development of the work of this institution.
It has also been agreed to place at the entrance to The Union banners that express the unanimous feeling of the three political groups calling for the regeneration of the Portman Bay and the rejection of the location in the Gorguel the proposed new container dock .
Finally, include the adoption of a motion presented by Izquierda Unida demanding better funding for municipalities.
