The Minister of Culture and Tourism, Pedro Alberto Cruz, opened today, with the mayor of La Union, Francisco Bernabé, the sample of nineteenth-century and contemporary art works from the Museum of Fine Arts of Murcia which is discussed in the House during Pinion the next two years.
It is, in Cruz's words, an initiative "rather unique" while "trying to introduce art into the pulse of daily life, so that more than thirty works generate a very interesting exhibition project in a building primarily administrative. "
It is also the first time in the Murcia Region administration building also acts as a museum.
The sample consists of 34 paintings by Victor Hernández Amores, "great milestone in regional painting of the nineteenth century," said Cruz, as well as Juan Luna and Novice, Ricardo Baroja, Manuel Menéndez, Alejandro Franco, María Dolores Soro, Joseph María Vicente, Emilio Martínez Arroyo, María Luisa Fernández and Nativity Navalón.

Cruz highlighted the "impressive collection of drawings" of Jose Maria Parraga exposed in the House of pinion and involving "some of the most outstanding of which has the region of this great artist."

La Casa del Pinon, designated as a Cultural Under-monument, is one of the most emblematic buildings of the Region of Murcia and a sample of local architectural eclecticism in the heyday of mining.
The artworks are arranged between the ground, first and second building.
On the other hand, Cruz and Barnabas have reported the latest developments relating to the theme park in the Sierra Minera, which opened to the public will take place in the coming months.
This important tourist and cultural commitment of the Region of Murcia main attraction will Vicenta Groups Mine, located in the Sierra Minera de Cartagena-La Union, declared of Cultural Interest, classified as historical site, on 30 April by Governing Council of the Autonomous Community.
The theme park in value will also gathers Vicente Mine, five mining sites: Countertop Ore and Mine Paid Philo, the Way of 33, a kiln and Mina Paul and Virginia.
The complex will have parking area, visitor center and a tourist train, miner who travel the 50,000 square foot park.
The project, funded by the local, regional and state levels, has invested close to three million euros.
