City Council proposes to the signing of several agreements of cooperation between local police and the Ministry of Interior
The government delegate in Murcia, Rafael González Tovar, has co-chaired this morning the Local Security Board of La Union, together with the local mayor, Francisco Bernabé, held to establish guidelines on the security device for the next celebration XLIX of Cante de las Minas.

The Government delegate also informed that the Ministry of Interior has allocated 58,000 euros for improvements in the Civil Guard barracks, which will adapt the facilities to the needs that have taken place as a result of increased staffing and pay better service to citizens.
It also recalled that the Government of Spain has made great efforts to increase the strength of the Guardia Civil in the Region of Murcia, which has led to an increase of 50 percent of troops since 2004.
"From the 14 guards that we had in 2004, we now have a staff of 21 agents, which are added two new members since last July 15 that will hold their practices in the barracks for a year," specified.
Security Cooperation Agreement and Victims of Domestic Violence
The delegate of the Government has proposed to the mayor of La Union in the development of the Local Security Board, to sign an agreement on Security to strengthen collaboration between local police and the Forces of State Security.
This agreement would entail the development of the Local Safety Plan, which would include joint action programs and planned, a protocol for assistance in automated information or installation of a shared technical operations.
It has also proposed the signing of a cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Interior for the Protection of Victims of Domestic Violence.
