The Mayor of La Union, Francisco Barnabas, and the Government Delegate, Rafael González Tovar, attended the ceremony of laying the foundation stone of the Municipal Covered Pavilion Portman and Roche.
They have also visited the site of the new Museum of Ethnology of the latter town.
The Mayor of La Unión, Bernabe Francisco, said that "these works at Portman and Roche are an important improvement to the infrastructure in these locations, as well as the service provided to citizens."
The new flag of the village of Roche is built on the Avenida Manuel Cano Vicedo.
This infrastructure, which will cover an area of almost 1,800 m2, will involve an investment of 550,000 euros by the Local Investment Fund.
The deadline for execution of works is twelve months.
Furthermore, both the Deputy Mayor and Government have visited the site of the Ethnological Museum to be located in the Old Schools of Roche.
Moreover, Gonzalez Tovar Barnabas and Portman have visited where they have presided over the laying of the cornerstone of the Municipal Hall of Portman and municipal administrative offices of the town.
The pavilion, located at the entrance of the population and whose surface is of 1,859 m2, will house a space that will house the administrative services provided by the City of La Union Portman.
The works will involve an investment of 700,000 euros, financed by the Local Investment Fund.
