The Mayor of La Unión, Bernabe Francisco, has closed the Cultural Week XII School Our Lady of Carmen, this educational institution dedicated to the marine environment of La Union.
In the presence of secondary students from the center, Francisco Bernabé has delivered a lecture entitled "The future of the Portman Bay", which has conducted a review of the situation facing the Bay today Portman also to explain the project to regenerate the area and the future new port of Bahia.
The Cultural Week XII Colegio Nuestra Señora del Carmen has grown from 25 April to 30 March.
The aim of this edition has been to facilitate students' approach to the marine environment of La Union, giving them the opportunity to know him better and appreciate the opportunity it offers to its proper use and enjoyment.
The activities have been directed to students in kindergarten, primary and secondary school.
Programming has included water sports, excursions, lectures, screenings, day living, exhibitions etc.
