Municipal Covered Pavilion, located on Race Street in the town of Irun, will be comprehensively reformed, starting next May, once run out of sports competitions are being held there.
These actions in City Hall, will enable, in the words of the Mayor of La Union, Francisco Bernabé, that "all the athletes and users to make use of a comfortable and functional."
The rehabilitation of the Municipal Covered Pavilion cover has been awarded to the company ECYSMUR, SL with an amount of € 74,124, an investment that is part of the Municipal Investment Plan 2008-2010 that promotes the City of La Union.
The work will consist of removing existing leaks and seepage through a comprehensive system of waterproofing and insulation.
Moreover, the rehabilitation of the arena of Municipal Hall has been awarded to the firm MONDO IBERICA, SA for € 75,023.59, action that belongs to the Municipal Investment Plan 2008-2010 of the City of La Union.
The current deteriorated pavement will be replaced by a new surface for high wear resistance and burns, and easy to clean and almost no maintenance.
It will be a multipurpose, suitable for playing badminton, indoor football, basketball and volleyball.
Finally, it will undertake a major improvement in the fitness room as well as installation of seats in the entire grandstand.
