On 8 March, International Day of Working Women was held in La Union last development activities for its commemoration.
The day was attended by the Mayor of La Unión, Bernabe Francisco and the entire municipal government team.
The Old Public Market has hosted the IX Bolillo Contest, which took part more than 300 lace makers arrivals from different parts of the Region of Murcia.
The participants, representing over 20 associations of women in the region, have enjoyed a day of coexistence, and share their experiences in this field.
Have set up three outlets in the room where you can purchase bobbin lace, thread, pins, magazines, templates, etc.
Similarly, some exhibitions have been exposed bobbin showing the works of various women's associations who have come to IX Bolillo Contest of La Union.
The week dedicated to International Women's Day Worker is finished with an afternoon celebration of variety in the voice of María Dolores Curado.
