The Mayor of La Union, Francisco Barnabas, and the Director of Public Works, José Ballesta, have signed on this morning, a collaboration agreement for the rehabilitation of the old slaughterhouse, which will become the headquarters of the Social Services the municipality.
The cost of the works is estimated at 302,020, 15 €, funded jointly between the city of La Union and the Ministry of Public Works and Planning.
The conversion of the old slaughterhouse in the municipality for use as the headquarters of the Social Services, will provide a better service to users, so that this assistance will receive new impetus in the municipality.
The Mayor of La Union, Francisco Bernabé, has been satisfied and that "signing the agreement we made sure to provide social services in the municipality of an area suitable for the development of their work", which "will benefit the attention given. "
Finally, Barnabas has stressed the importance of "follow recovering historic buildings for public use."
