The Mayor of La Union, Francisco Barnabas, and the Director of the office of "La Caixa" in the main street of La Union, Raja Ginés Hernández, have signed this morning a partnership agreement to finance microcredit.
The agreement between the City Microbank and facilitate the lending of small amounts aimed at those with difficulty accessing traditional credit system.
The ceremony was also attended Microbank responsible for the area of Murcia and Alicante, Victoria Maria Ros Marin.
The cooperation agreement signed between the municipality and Microbank "La Caixa" will allow also the implementation of lending operations aimed at financing small amount of self-employment projects, supporting and encouraging the creation of projects with an entrepreneurial people.
The criteria for granting microcredit by MicroBank serves primarily to personal confidence and viability of projects to fund, customers can access them devoid of assurances and guarantees required by the traditional financial system.
In granting micro-credits, in addition to the 5,500 branches of "la Caixa", collaborating entities that provide knowledge of the people who have been granted loan operations, advise and track projects.
In total, MicroBank has signed agreements with 342 social organizations in Spain, ensuring the viability of the projects financed.
The social partners are organizations of all kinds with experience in carrying out economic or social assistance aimed at enhancing small business development, promote self-employment and encourage entrepreneurship.
