The proposal, which has already started developing the previous government team, is to create a free zone flamenco entrepreneurship through grants and tax incentives to attract investments that allow companies related to this cultural industry.
Celdrán Javier explained that this initiative is inserted in a broader program to be extending to other towns in the region.
In this regard he stressed that "the objective is to specialize municipalities in those sectors where they can be more competitive and encourage the creation and establishment of businesses through subsidies and tax breaks, as reduction in business taxes and Real Property, grants for starting activity or support for the search and acquisition of land. "
In the case of the Union, the proposal is to build on its tradition and its strong links with the world of flamenco to attract the municipality to related companies (eg manufacturing companies of guitars, recording studios or textile enterprises engaged in manufacturing and commercialization of flamenco dresses), creating a free trade zone will become a reference worldwide.
This proposal is included in a regional initiative developed by the Municipality Entrepreneur program, which already make up half the municipalities in the region, and to be implemented experimentally in La Union and San Javier.
"In the case of San Javier, are working in a free enterprise zone in water sports. The idea is to create a space in which all companies involved in a particular sector and take advantage of the synergies that can be created are concentrated among them profitable and efforts and create economies of scale, "said the director of INFO.
The development of this plan now requires that each municipality identify those sectors in which they can specialize consider and highlight;
INFO, meanwhile, is responsible for conducting market research to test the feasibility of the project.
"We want to help create a strong business network in the municipalities, to help create jobs and contribute to local economic development and thus regional" concluded the director of INFO.
