The journalist, a regular for years the festival of La Union, was a preacher of the same in 1996 and also had the Golden Castillete for his unquestionable flamenco outreach.

Angel Alvarez Caballero has authored more than a dozen publications on this art, including an indispensable trilogy of song, dance and flamenco touch.

The chief executive of the Foundation and mayor of La Union, Pedro Lopez Milan, today expressed his condolences on behalf of the Festival for the death of this master;

one of the pioneers of rigorous and specialized and tireless student of this art flamenco critics.
