The municipal corporation of The Union has received today in the council of this town deputy cultural attache at the Japanese ambassador Mr. Suzuki.

The diplomat has signed the guestbook of the Town Hall and has toured the offices of the Casa del Piñón and Mining Museum.

The mayor, Pedro Lopez Milan, and councilors of the corporation have accompanied the diplomatic entourage during the official visit.

The deputy ambassador will attend tonight at the Public Market the first semifinal of the International Festival of Cante de las Minas.

Four contestants from Japan, selected in 2014, participating in the competition phase.
