The Governing Council of the CARM granted the City a grant of € 2.1 million by Decree No 620/2008 of 29 December, to undertake the project of upgrading and expansion of the Mining Museum located in the Lyceum of Workers, works or even they were initiated by the PP government team.
That grant, the City saw in 2008 the amount of 420,000 euros from the CARM, and was to have been during the years 2009 and 2010 Other equity € 425,750.43 for part of the works.
Like all the neighbors know, these works do not have not even started and there have been several occasions when the CARM and the City Council have signed addenda to the previous agreement are delaying the implementation period of the project and its justification.
The City Council has spent 420,000 euros entered the CARM in 2008 allocating them to a different use for which they were granted, and in addition, the Council has not set € 425,750.43 to which he was bound, having not executed any project.
At that CARM stated in his communication that "However, for the current year is not possible to arrange a new readjustment of annuities, so, in order to take appropriate decisions on the continuation or termination of the agreement is must be referred to the Directorate General justification of the amount processed to date (amounting to € 845,750.43) by submitting a report justifying the action taken ...)
The PSOE purge appropriate management responsibilities to so dire, and may end up forcing the municipality to reimburse all amounts received (€ 420,000) and lose this project for breach of agreement by the municipal contribution that money been spent and other purposes.
