Christ of the Miners has organized, in collaboration with the City of La Union, last weekend.
With this event The Union has taken the Day of the Cross, after 60 years and acts have been directed to the exaltation of the Cross and the collection and donations raised will go to Caritas Interparroquial.
The fair scenario has been located on Calle Bailen, hosted near the Museum of the Holy Week the two days of celebration.
The events began with the Blessing of the Cross by the Rev.
D. Ginés Luis Vicente Blasco and continued with the opening speech by the bullfighting journalist, José Castillo Abreu unionense.
It followed a night where hundreds of people enjoyed in the old part of town.
Rociera Mass Rally held on Saturday morning was the main religious ceremony in celebration of May Cruz I Sierra Minera.
