There have been the First Conference Meet Portman and Roche Tourist past weekend in order to publicize and disseminate the museums of our parishes and existing assets.
This initiative undertaken by the Department of Tourism, headed by Laura Vicente, has resulted in an influx of visitors with more than 500 people, who enjoyed during the past two days of museum collections and their urban routes, discovering for some and others rediscovering the attractions available in our villages.
Younger also enjoyed these visits, in a very peculiar way, through organized workshops for children, especially for them, where they could become Roman and miners in a morning, making a very special mosaic and mining tooling and remembering popular games forgotten today.
In these days, we could count on the cooperation and participation of the associations of the two districts, who helped make this event a success.
In both cases we were able to taste the cuisine of our parishes, where we have the cooperation and support of the hospitality industry.
