The headquarters of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces, located in Madrid, has been the site of a new meeting of the National Committee on the Environment, which is part like vowel our Mayor, Julio Garcia.

Given the various issues discussed, a proposal from our mayor, by the components of the Commission has again shown its full support for the draft comprehensive regeneration of Portman Bay, currently pending before the Ministry of Environment.

Members of the Environmental Commission unanimously expressed their satisfaction with the positive outlook as presented by the project by providing all the support and advice face to get the good end of it.

Furthermore, the Commission has also taken several agreements on waste management and its impact on local government in the period 2016-2020;

and the protection of certain environmental species (flora and fauna).
