Union Progress and Democracy (UPyD) The Union requests the City Council immediacy of a strategic plan for the elimination of architectural barriers in the municipality, because they prevent "equal access and movement of people with functional disabilities and mobility reduced ".
In this sense, the formation magenta notes that "in many cases there are no accessible pedestrian routes to the most important areas of our town," creating a difficulty listed for some people, and giving dangerous situations.
Similarly, UPyD The Union claims that the invasion of vehicles in pedestrian areas, or parking for disabled usual, and not right on the sidewalks and roadway conditions exist, being at different levels.
"With high pedestrian steps, sidewalks do not respect the feet in width, and the parking areas are not properly marked with a vertical signaling."
For this reason, UPyD The Union proposes two measures to City Hall to this problem.
On the one hand, to conduct an "analysis of existing architectural barriers, develop a real plan accessibility check the actions, objectives and deadlines, and post it up and be reflected in the budget to make it a reality."
And secondly, "create virtual spaces in social networks to engage citizens, asking them to report potential faults".
