The City of La Union, through its Department of Social Policy, which directs Rosa Pagan, has initiated the development of the project "Social Intervention Roma population in the municipality of La Union", whose ultimate aim is social inclusion and substantially improving the living conditions of Roma La Union.
The project is an initiative against labor exclusion of the Roma community in the municipality, promoting their integral development through global actions of social, cultural and educational.
All actions will aim to promote personal development, so that the course participants are the protagonists of their own evolution and proponents of both the evolution of his people.
Different actions included in the areas of family and neighborhood living, health education, training and guidance, and leisure time be made;
for through workshops and other training processes tailored to your situation, provide basic cultural education and training in social and work skills.
The project is funded entirely by the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Health and Social Policy, amounting to a total of 21,000 euros.
The training workshops for the development and implementation of the project, carried out in the clubhouse located in the Barrio de San Gil, and the frequency thereof is six months.
