The Minister of Education, Culture and Universities, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, and the Minister of Development, Public Works and Planning, Francisco Barnabas, today attended the ceremony for the Gold Medal for Merit in Fine Arts at International Festival Cante de las Minas, collected by the CEO of the Foundation Cante de las Minas and mayor of La Union, Julio Garcia.

The regional government has welcomed the award of this distinction, whose delivery was chaired by the King and Queen, and that is a cultural landmark for both the Region and for the cante jondo.
