The Regional Confederation of Organizations of Cartagena (COEC) has awarded the "Award of Excellence" for the tourism sector to the Foundation Cante de Las Minas for the work done for the dissemination and promotion of flamenco and tourism Region of Murcia, according to the unanimous opinion of the components of the Jury met to decide the awards.
The act that has been announced, which was attended by the Councillor for Tourism, Laura Vincent, was held at the offices of Prolam and united representation of local employers.
Similarly, companies awarded at the XXIV edition of "Business Excellence Awards" this distinction have been Innovation Award, in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Navigation of Cartagena, the Fuente Álamo Technology Park ;
in the Agrifood Sector, the Perichán Group;
in the Trade Sector Watertight Mayor;
in Sector Entrepreneur, Grape Jumillana;
Industry Sector, ILBOC;
Service Industry, Vega Prevention;
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Galiempleo, and Business Career, Cafes Pérez-Campos.
Our Mayor and Executive Chairman of the Foundation Cante de las Minas, Julio García, highlighted the importance of this recognition, because it comes from professionals in the region, undoubtedly the most familiar with the huge and positive impact that our Flamenco Contest has beyond our borders, which undoubtedly is a great pride and satisfaction for all unionenses in particular and for flamenco lovers in general.
The awards ceremony will take place at the gala to be held on Friday, February 6, 2015, in the Auditorium and Congress Centre "El Batel" of Cartagena.
