The Department of Infrastructure directing Salvador Martínez has supervised adaptation works and paving of several rural roads in La Union.
The works have been carried out by the Directorate General of Irrigation and Rural Development of the Autonomous Community and the total cost of these amounts to more than 80,000 euros.
Rural roads where it has performed are:
Road Macher, in the Place Torrecica, with a length of 130 meters performance.
The Red Trail, which connects the Place de Las Oliveras with the northern part of The Bolarín Business Park, with a length of 590 meters performance.
Camino de Las Caleras, Murcia Street connecting the housing area and located parking by Sabina Mora College, with a length of 468 meters performance.
The actions that have been made are:
excavation and road resanteo currently existing ground
refining and glide ditches protection from storm water runoff
engineering works to protect road
formation of granular base with artificial gravel za-25
firm with hot bituminous agglomerate with limestone aggregate.

The works will allow proper movement of pedestrians and vehicles on these roads eliminating torches, subsidence, embolsamientos water, etc., currently produced.
Thanks to this action, about a hundred residents of the municipality who reside in the vicinity of these rural places will see dramatically improved access to their homes, and the transit of machinery and vehicles in adjacent farms.
