The Palacio de San Esteban in Murcia, seat of the Presidency of the Autonomous Region has witnessed the meeting this morning that have kept the President of the Region of Murcia, Alberto Garre, and our Mayor, Julio Garcia.
The meeting served as a review of the reality of the municipality of La Union in all its aspects and major initiatives underway or being begin shortly.
In particular, attempts have been made on the Strategic Project Portman, in regard to the works of regeneration, where President Garre has expressed full support from the Regional Government for the regeneration of Portman is a reality soon.
He also assured his momentum to take the steps necessary for implementation of the Residence "Christ of the Miners" the Diagram Foundation has built in the township.
In another development issues, has confirmed our mayor support in achieving employment and training projects for the municipality through employment workshops that allow improving the situation in this respect;
and has pledged its support for the development of the Project for the Sports Pavilion in the Secondary School Cegarra Maria Salcedo.
Finally, the President of the Region of Murcia has confirmed that from the Regional Government is already working on projects for our town of La Union such as the construction of the roundabout to La Union from the Llano de El Beal or building new social housing, as anticipated last Friday the Minister of Development, Public Works and Planning, Francisco Bernabé, our Mayor, Julio Garcia.
