The Department of Tourism and Museums of the City of La Union has made the transfer of the Archives of La Union Mining Museum, located until recently in the home of the Lyceum of Workers.
The reason is due to the relocation of the facilities of the Casa Museo Minero Pinion, held last 2013. This was created within the museum itself is a space for the protection of this important legacy.
The Archive contains interesting documents pertaining to Raise Machinist and plans of mines and mining companies, and a dense literature pertaining to mineralogy and mining history.
This action arises from the intention to undertake the rehabilitation of the building "Old Lyceum Workers" and to enable any researcher can access the consultation of its contents with the greatest possible facilities.
