Last Saturday kicked off the course for the 5th Promotion of students from the School of Flamenco Art Flamencology Catholic University of Murcia (UCAM) and Foundation Cante de las Minas, who will perform his artistic training in the categories of singing, dancing, guitar and flamenco drawer.
More than 70 students have started teaching, which runs until next June every Saturday since the rate of two hours per week of classes for each of the disciplines.
The direction of the International Flamencology continues by Estrella Morente and coordination of the School continues entrusted guitarist Carlos Piñana, while the faculty compose Encarnación Fernández (cante), Antonio Muñoz (guitar), Rosendo Fernandez (guitar ), Juan Martinez (guitar), Clotilde Corvi (dance), Lily Gonzalez (dance), Fefa Gomez (dance) and Antonio Fernández "Wito" (cajón).
The students were welcomed by the Councillor for Culture and Director of the International Festival del Cante de las Minas, Julio Garcia and Juan Alfonso Garcia, Coordinator of the International Flamencology of the Catholic University of Murcia (UCAM), who wished them the best of the profits to this new undertaking formative stage.
