The Festival del Cante de las Minas I continues to spread throughout the year and showing the Flemish and the essence of our mining competition both domestically and internationally, as being done in these recent days through the show "Giving Sing" promoted Tour from Las Minas Flamenco.
The show opened last night at the Circulo de Bellas Artes in Madrid and carried upon the tables of this legendary cultural scene the essence of the Festival, starring the same number of winners and the interpretation of the most representative flamenco styles.
Among the figures who acted yesterday in Madrid were Eduardo Guerrero (first prize winner of the 2013 dance Cante de las Minas), Jose Tomas Gimenez (guitar first prize in the latest edition of Cante de las Minas) Antonio Muñoz Fernández (official Guitar Festival and winner of the same in 1982), dancer and singer Yolanda Osuna Antonio Mejias (also winning many awards both Festival), all accompanied by a magnificent picture of Flemish artists such as Wito to Garnes and Fernandez drawer and the palms.
These artists performed a show that began with a mining cappella, which followed a Cartagena, tangos, some joys a Levantine, a fandango, a soleá and bulerías to complete a new mining, all without solution continuity and individual performances interspersed with the whole group on stage simultaneously.
The audience, which filled the large auditorium full enclosure, enjoyed a great time with the activities and appreciated the efforts of the performers with a standing ovation and stood up, giving rise to several encores of artists.
Among the distinguished attendees included the presence of the Minister of Justice, Rafael Catala;
State Secretary for Infrastructure, Transport and Housing, Julio Gómez-Pomar;
Chairman of Ports, José Llorca;
President of Iberia, Luis Gallego;
representatives of the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation;
and a large representation of employers in Madrid.
