The Sports Council directed Laura Vicente promotes new initiatives for the sporting activities of the municipality.
To this end, in collaboration with the Spanish Association of Martial Arts Disciplines Cardio sports (ASEAM-DC) have contributed to that next Tuesday November 4 school starts Ju Japanese Jitsu, ancient martial art, in the Pavilion Sports Race Street Irun.
Students who follow the classes, belonging to ASEAM-DC, they will be recognized merit in relevant disciplines made by official diplomas and certificates of the Association.
The classes will be taught by the president of the Association, Master Pedro Miranda, 5th Dan Black Belt, and self-defense expert with over 20 years experience.
In addition, the Association also wants to collaborate with the Department of Sports organizing exhibitions and workshops developing female self defense in the fight against gender violence, as has already been done a few years ago in the town with great success of participation.
The schedule of classes will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays for the group of children from 18.00 to 19.00, and the group of adults, 20.15 to 21.15.
