It was held in the Board Room of Pinion House, home of the City of La Union, a meeting of the Group Display Social Work Program, consists of several municipalities of the Region of Murcia, such as St. Peter's Pinatar, Lorca, Molina de Segura, Los Alcazares, Torre Pacheco, Murcia, Las Torres de Cotillas, and La Union, also having professional assistance of the Planning and Evaluation Department of Social Policy.
The reason for it is the creation of the Commission on regional work for professional Social Work Program at the Centers of Social Services, as the Convention provides for the development of actions in terms of primary care social services 2013-2014.
The Commission aims to improve care for people from the Social Work Program and generate a meeting space and professional reflection to analyze and make suggestions for improvement and operation of the Program.
The Social Work Program is part of the social service system that welcomes in the first instance, people with social needs, and is also the one that initially detected the major social problems of a territory.
Plays a key role in attention, promotion and integration of people with social needs such important dimensions as the absence of vital minimal dependency situations or processes of social exclusion.
Our Councillor for Social Policy, Rosa Pagan, chaired the coordinating committee also established new tasks to be performed by assistants who will pay off in future business meetings.
