The Newsroom Pinion House was the setting in which this morning took place the presentation of the Official Program of the festivity in honor of the Virgen del Rosario this year.
The ceremony was chaired by the Deputy Mayor of Culture, Julio Garcia, and told the main novelty in the presence of known journalist, Oscar Martinez, broadcaster Cadena 100 and television, which this year will be our big Crier .
The festivities will repeat the format have the cooperation of the major music radio stations in our country and that has given such good results in recent years.
So, Cadena Cope, Cadena 100 and Rock FM will develop the Third Edition of Pop Mina, during the first weekend of the holidays will allow us to enjoy the performances of U2 Please Experience, the best tribute band in Spain to the legendary band U2, the performance of the legendary group Los Secretos, and crazy action Octopus.
In addition, there will be a Night of Electronic Music, one of the best national DJ`s, OSA KROSS;
a Variety Gala, presented by Antonio Hidalgo;
Night of Monologues, with comedians Toni Rodriguez Deltell Xavier, Paco Collado "Aberroncho" and Jorge Garcia;
Night of Tribute to Manolo Garcia and The Last in Line, with the "IDEM" Group;
also the great Night of 80, with a performance by Grupo "KAR P DIEM", and also the performance of the Group STOLEN-COVER BAND.
All these concerts, as well as other musical acts and all events planned during the holidays will be free of charge to allow enjoyment by all citizens without exception.
Of course, four large meals and popular dinner invitation to all people to enjoy crumbs, rice, and giant omelette sandwich, like the now traditional Paella Contest Day, the cuisine will note during these days.
And as usual, the Great Chupinazo Home Party, the Parade of Costumes, Parade Floats, the Tribute to Honor Neighbors, Lunch Bikers Day of the Virgin of Pilar with Tribute to the Flag Spain and, above all, the Day of the Virgin of Rosario, on 7 October with Mass in the morning and the procession carrying on their shoulders to the patron through the center of the town during the afternoon.
And beside all this, a host of activities more organized mostly by Festeras Peñas and several associations of our town, form a truly spectacular program and designed for children, young and old, with over one hundred activities planned for the enjoyment of all.
The presentation ceremony was also attended Queens and children, young and older ladies, representatives of the Federation of Peñas "El Palenque" La Union, responsible for events Cadena Cope, author of the poster this year, unionense Isabel Campillo and several Councillors Team, headed by the mayor of Celebration, Mary Hermogenes.
