Last week opened with great reviews the exhibition "Rock, Paper, ... .Escultura" located in the Auditorium Building Merced Campus of the University of Murcia, which has been made by the artist Bethlehem Orta, based in the hamlet of Roche for several years.
The exhibition, which was attended by the General Director of Cultural Industries and Arts, Marta Lopez-Briones and Culture Deputy Mayor of the City of La Union, Julio Garcia, among many others, will be open until next Friday 26 September.
Bethlehem Orta has a degree in Fine Art, specializing in Sculpture and Etching, and in recent times has also exhibited at the Ramón Alonso Luzzy, Cartagena, Cultural Center or the Naval Museum in Madrid.
He practiced the art curating the first successful edition of the Night of the Museums of La Union, held last May.
In this exhibition, his work reflects his own words, "forgotten books, rusty iron, carved stones give life to a new sculptural universe. A patient and thoughtful work, studies that allow you the thrill of giving life to create sculptural allegories Cueing in a subtle atmosphere where dialogue alabaster, rough and tough, the book, enriched by subtle and delicate union of both. "
From City of La Union we want to congratulate our neighbor for this magnificent exhibition, inviting all culture lovers to visit it and enjoy his art.
