Yesterday a lively parade through the streets of our town announcing the start of the School Year 2014/2015, which will be on Monday September 8 for the Schools of Education and Primary and next September 16 for Secondary Schools .
During its development it was handing students a school desk calendar, where the start and end of the school year, holiday periods, local, regional and national holidays and other notable dates are set.
This activity consists of an awareness campaign for the prevention of truancy in the town, which is part of Project Truancy developed from the Department of Social Services City of La Union, directed Rosa Pagan.
With this campaign is also intended to remind all families in the municipality of La Union's compulsory education thus established in Article 27.4 of the Spanish Constitution, finalized later this obligation, from 6 to 16 years of age in accordance with current legislation.
