The last semifinal contests of song, dance, and Flamenco guitar instrumentalist Festival del Cante de las Minas de La Unión is coming.
In last night acted before the panel of judges, in this order: the instrumentalist Antonio Moreno Sáenz, Seville, who touched the marimba, Taranta and soleá;
the singer Amalia Andujar Gallego, of Madrid, who played Cartagena, solea and bulerías;
the bailaroa Beatriz Romero Morales, of Cadiz, who ran Taranto and bulerías;
the singer Sebastian Cruz Marquez, Huelva, with mining, Cartagena, Taranta, and siguiriya solea;
the singer Tamara Aguilera Garamendi, Seville, with mining, Malaga, siguiriya cane and cantiñas;
Marco Serrato guitarist José Gómez, also in Seville, with Taranta and bujería;
the dancer María Moreno Pérez, Cadiz, who danced Taranto and romance;
and singer María Cristina Soler Gago, "Cristina Soler" de Huelva, with mining, Taranta, Murcia-levantica, granaína half granaína and Guajira.
Tonight performing at the Cathedral of Cante the last 10 semifinalists, who include two instrumentalists (piano and saxophone), 5 singers, 1 guitar and 2 dancers.

Joseph Cros Zaplana.
Popularly known as Pepe Cros La Union, is the son of the great Pencho Cros, three times winner of the Mining Lamp this festival, and reference and master of all lovers of these songs.
Joseph Cros has inherited the artistic legacy of his father, and his extensive knowledge of mining songs.
The secretary of the Jury is Antonio Gomez Perez, professor of Literature in Secondary Education, which exerts teaching at a school in La Union, and is also a great lover of flamenco.
