On Tuesday July 16 the Virgen del Carmen, Patroness of the Sea and Fisherman held its celebration in our town with the traditional procession through the town during that time Portman.

The procession, which started from the Parish of St. James, came to the old port where the Salve was sung in his honor by the present, after which he returned to his temple.

The Virgin was carried on the shoulders of the faithful portmaneros and was sheltered by our Mayor, Francisco Bernabé, and a large representation of the Municipal Corporation.

The procession marches were performed by the musical group La Union.
