In the morning it was approved the budget for 2014 with a total amount of 11,994,651 euros, representing a decrease of 6.63% over the 2013 budget.
The budget saving measures proposed in the Finance Plan contemplated, which means, among other measures, to achieve a saving of 10.21% on staff and 25.62% in current expenditure.
Also approves a budget reduction of 5.53% of Property Tax (commonly known as tax), so our neighbors will notice a reduction of this tax in the same year.
The municipal budget social spending continues to support needy families and also continues to guarantee the provision of all public services without suffering any decline.
In short, a municipal budget in 2014 overturned the social protection of our neediest citizens with an eye toward job creation and output of this grave crisis arises, but without forgetting austerity and escased of media currently exist.
Are moderately optimistic accounts before the new year, while demand will remain cautious and vigilant, and considered that it will mark a turning point for the Union, Portman and Roche regarding economic, social and employment.
And that optimism, always wise, is also reflected in the figures presented for next year with the knowledge that will be useful to municipal development in 2014.
