The headquarters of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces, based in Madrid, has been the scene of a new session of its National Commission on the Environment, which is part of the voice as our Mayor, Francisco Bernabé.
Given the various issues discussed, a proposal of Barnabas, by the members of the Commission has become his full support to ratify the draft comprehensive regeneration of Portman Bay, currently pending before the Ministry of Environment.
Even, it has reached agreement to hold a meeting in our town of this Commission over the coming months in order to see first hand all the details of the initiative.
Moreover, the Commission has also taken several agreements on waste management, implementation of new technologies in this area, removal of electrical and electronic equipment and other issues of environmental reasons.
