Real Spanish La Liga Naval allocated to our Mayor, Francisco Bernabé, its highest honor, the Golden Anchor, during a ceremony in Madrid attended by senior representatives of marine five (Navy, Merchant, Fisheries, Scientific and Sports) and important authorities.
The recognition was awarded for his "invaluable work in defense of the marine coast in the municipality of La Union", in relation to the struggle that has been developing for years after getting feedback from Portman Bay.
Barnabas has it welcomed the award of this distinction, stating that collects on behalf of all residents of either of our town supporting decisively that the proposed regeneration of our bay is carried out, on the one deposited all hopes for a future of jobs and prosperity for the Union, Portman and Roche.
