It was during Saturday afternoon when it took place for the fourth consecutive year, the Via Crucis penance in honor of the Holy Christ of Miners.
More than 5,000 people joined the holder of the Brotherhood on its way from the Mina Group Vicenta to Mrs. OL of the Rosary Church.
All participants, both highlighted how extraordinarily beautiful and moving is this parade, which is conjugated as in any other religious faith with mining roots unionenses.
Served Palm Sunday processions for three more live in our town, two in La Union and in Portman.
The first two got their start in the Church of Nuestra Señora de los Dolores, starting one of them first thing in the morning to the Church of Nuestra Señora del Rosario, while the second was carried out by mid-morning streets and squares in the same neighborhood on Garbanzal.
The last procession was held in Portman, where he enjoyed a large procession of palms, accompanied by the musical group La Union, thus contributing to a higher profile and striking the parade.
The next Holy Thursday, at 21.00, will the Procession of Silence in honor of the Christ of the Miners in La Union, while at 00.00 Portman will take place.
The Good Friday procession in La Union will be at 20.30.
Previously, on Holy Wednesday the National Competition Saetas in the Church of the Rosary will be held, starting at 20.00.
