The function room La Cartuja yesterday hosted the traditional Christmas meal of the Home of the Elderly of the Union, which was attended by 400 senior citizens who packed full local.

The event was chaired by our Mayor, Francisco Bernabé, who was accompanied by several Councillors Team, among which was evidently Salvador Martinez, who was then also President of this institution in our town.

A good lunch followed by prize draw, the traditional bingo and a lively dance completed a day characterized by the good atmosphere that was experienced between our pensioners, who congratulated Mayor Christmas and thanked the generous efforts that continue all day to continue to help their families.
